Welcome to the Sonoma Online Meeting of Narcotics Anonymous. My name is _________, I am an addict and your secretary. Let’s open the meeting with the Serenity Prayer.
"God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
This is a one-hour open meeting*. Our meetings are not recorded and we ask that attendees NOT record in any way including taking pictures with your phone. If you would like to change your display name, please send the host or co-hosts a message in the chat and we can do that for you.

During the meeting microphones are muted. The chat is limited to hosts only and will become available after the meeting. If you would like to speak or read please raise your virtual hand and the host will send you an unmute prompt. The raise hand function can be found in your Zoom Toolbar by clicking the 'Reactions' button.
We ask that you please turn off your camera if you will be moving around extensively and we do not allow vaping or smoking on camera.

A newcomer is someone in their first 30 days of recovery. Do we have any newcomers or anyone who is attending their very first NA meeting?

Treasurer Announcement: 7th tradition
It costs nothing to belong to the fellowship. This meeting collects a 7th tradition, which pays for our expenses. Contributions can be made clicking the link on our webpage that says 7th Tradition (https://sonomaonlinena.org/donate). We accept contributions through:

Business Meeting:
Our group has one business meeting per month for all of our meetings on the last Sunday of every month at 6pm. The business meeting link is on our website under "Schedule". Discussion portion of the meeting:
Please limit your share to 3-5 minutes. The secretary will display images to notify those sharing to wrap up their share. We will end 5 minutes before the hour [*except Sunday morning meeting] to ask for burning desires.
We ask that you do not cross-talk. Cross-talk is engaging in dialogue, debate, or commenting extensively on another person's share.
Narcotics Anonymous makes no distinction between drugs. Our identification as addicts is all-inclusive allowing us to concentrate on our similarities, not our differences.
Sharing includes Sharing the Time:
Does anyone have a burning desire? A burning desire is if you feel like using, please speak up now and take the power out of it.
Has anyone celebrated a clean-time milestone in the last week?

Just for Today
Just for today my thoughts will be on my recovery, living and enjoying life without the use of drugs.
Just for today I will have faith in someone in NA who believes in me and wants to help me in my recovery.
Just for today I will have a program. I will try to follow it to the best of my ability.
Just for today through NA I will try to get a better perspective on my life.
Just for today I will be unafraid, my thoughts will be on my new associations, people who are not using and who have found a new way of life. So long as I follow that way, I have nothing to fear.
